Luna Rossa Prada Perfume for Men

In September 2012, Prada released a new manly fragrance called “Red Moon” or Luna Rossa, which is named after the yacht and sailing team that competes in the American Cup events. The new scent is inspired by the world of extreme sailing, prestige, marine nature, and a thirst for innovation and triumph, as evidenced by its name.
Givaudan perfumer Daniela Andrier created the mixture around the predominant note of lavender. The employment of classical sounds in new, unique ways emphasises the intensity and freshness of accords. The top notes are lavender absolute and bitter orange, the heart notes are clary sage and spearmint, and the base notes are ambrette absolute and ambroxan molecule.
